Race Recap: CJ Speedway (4/28)

We got our second top 5 in two weeks last weekend at Columbus Junction Speedway! It’s actually starting to look like all this hard work is beginning to pay off!

Despite missing on our setup just slightly for the feature, our #22 IMCA Stock Car was really fast all night long. During the heat race we started in dead last and drove it all the way up to 2nd place.

The track was hammer down fast but as the temps dropped and the wind picked up, it ended drying out a lot quicker than we expected it to. I started 8th in the feature event and was able to miss a really big wreck early on in the race. From there I was able to drive it up to P.5 and hold position there until the checkered flag came out!

I’m really excited about this momentum we have rolling right now and I’m looking forward to seeing what we can make happen in the coming weeks. We’ll be out as West Liberty this weekend, come out and join us if you can!

- Sincerely, the TAR Family
