Stock Car Wrap & First Weekend Cancellation

Iowa is not exactly known for its beautiful weather yet every year it seems we are trying to go racing in the middle of March just for the opening weekend to get cancelled. Unfortunately, this year is no different. Our first race of the season was scheduled to run this weekend, March 23-25, at Davenport Speedway for the Thawl Brawl. Due to inclement weather though, the weekend has been cancelled so we are setting our sights on the next event on our schedule April 7-8 for the Darkside Spring Fling at Cedar County Raceway.

We do have some good news for this Race-Monitor post, at least: the stock car is wrapped and ready to race! Aside from a thorough nut and bolt and a first shake down, our #22 machine is looking mean. Check out some of our favorite photos of the car right after it came back from the wrap shop!

Apologies again for the race cancellation this weekend. If you can make it out to Cedar County Raceway, we plan to put on a great show to make up for it!
